Call C4 (November – December 2019) is closed.

A forth recruitment call (C4) is launched to cover ESR6 position. C4 will be opened from November 19th to December 31st 2019.  Call will be resolved within the three following weeks.

For this forth call 1 Marie Curie PhD position available at Institute of Organic Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, Poland in the framework of the NOAH project for 23 months (with the possibility to be extended from other funding sources up to 48 months). The research project will be based on the Biomimetic peptide-based chiral molecular capsules through dynamical approach.  The ESR will receive additional training by undergoing relevant secondments at the industrial and other academic partners’ facilities.

NOAH has recruited 10 Early-Stage Researchers (ESRs) each with a 36-month contract who will have the possibility to defend a PhD thesis at the end of their individual projects. Each PhD student is hosted in a beneficiary institution and will receive additional training by undergoing relevant secondments at the industrial and other academic partners’ facilities.

Recruitment

Call C1 (April – May 2018).

First recruitment call (C1) will be opened from 1st April 2018 to 31st May 2018. Call will be opened for 2 months and resolved within the three following weeks.

Call C2 (June – July 2019).

A second recruitment call (C2) is launched to cover ESR3 position. C2 will be opened from June 7th 2019 to 7th July July 2019.  Call will be opened for 1 month and resolved within the three following weeks.

For this second call 1 Marie Curie PhD position available at Freie Universität Berlin in the framework of the NOAH project for 27 months (with the possibility to be extended from other funding sources up to 42 months). The research project will be based on the Gas Phase study of encapsulation processes. The ESR will receive additional training by undergoing relevant secondments at the industrial and other academic partners’ facilities

Call C3 (July – August 2019).

A third recruitment call (C3) is launched to cover ESR2 position. C3 will be opened from July 1st to August 2nd 2019.  Call will be opened for 1 month and resolved within the three following weeks.

For this third call 1 Marie Curie PhD position available at Université de Neuchâtel in the framework of the NOAH project for 26 months (with the possibility to be extended from other funding sources up to 36 months). The research project will be based on the Developing the biological potential of organometallic cages. The ESR will receive additional training by undergoing relevant secondments at the industrial and other academic partners’ facilities

Job conditions

  • Appointment under full-time employment contract for a period of 36 months
  • Competitive remuneration (Living Allowance = €3110/month (correction factor to be applied per country) + mobility allowance = €600/month + family allowance if applicable = €500/month). Monthly salary and hosting institution costs for the fellow before any deductions.
  • Additional funding for participation to courses, workshops, conferences, etc.
  • Enrollment in a Doctorate program with the possibility to lead to a PhD dissertation.
  • Starting date: ESRs are expected to start from October 2018 (estimated time).

Eligibility criteria

EU eligibility criteria for candidates: Candidates of any nationality, but in order to be eligible for the positions the following criteria applies to all applicants:

  • The applicant shall at the time of recruitment be in the first four years of his/her research career and have not been awarded a doctoral degree.
  • The applicant must not have resided or carried out his/her main activity in the country of the host institute for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the recruitment.

Candidates profile: candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Chemistry or BioChemistry (depending on the position) with excellent academic transcripts. We are looking for highly motivated students with good communication skills
All candidates must prove full proficiency in spoken and written English (B2 certificate, TOEFL, or equivalent).
