Project

NOAH brings together a multimodal network composed of recognised research groups with complementary areas of expertise. This expertise on containers’ design, synthesis and characterisation, together with the identification of a wide library of possible relevant guests using computational tools will ensure the achievement of the full potential of the developed molecular capsules and their exploitation as functional materials for chemical, biological and environmental applications. The demands of NOAH in multidisciplinary research training will generate skilled fellows equipped with the diverse skills set to confront challenging and actual encapsulation problems important for the academic and the industrial sectors alike. Therefore, this field offers    countless opportunities to strengthen relations between the academic sector and the R&D units of chemical industries.
